More than a shot in the nuts

Interview with Dr. Jamin Brahmbatt about the causes of chronic testicular pain.

While attending the American Urology Association annual conference, I met up with good friend, Drive for Men’s Health doctor, Jamin Brahmbhatt. They presented interesting research that they have been doing at the PUR clinic on chronic testicular pain including what they called “scrotox” or the use of botox as a potential means to get rid of chronic orchalgia. The research looked good. The subject intrigued me.

What causes ball pain? What do doctors do to treat it?

I was surprised to learn how many things can cause testicular pain and how many men deal with chronic groin pain. Asking around, many urologists confirmed that this a common reason that men come in for a visit, but it can be frustrating for both doctor and patient as diagnosis can be elusive.

Researching over 20 peer-reviewed journal articles, I compiled a feature article and a series of videos for DCYB on Testicular Pain. Enjoy.
