A new study reveals a general lack of knowledge surrounding male fertility among Asian women. The study commissioned by Merck Serono, entitled Starting Families Asia, surveyed 1,000 women across 10 Asian countries. Highlighted results include: 51% of women do not know that a man may be infertile even if he can achieve an erection, and 49% do not realize that a man may be infertile even though he produces sperm.
Merck Serono commissioned the study to better understand female decision-making regarding fertility in Asia.
